So the SO and I decided to go out last Thursday and just eat at Wing-stop located near Riverside. I saw the nice fountain and decided to take pictures. It was just a lovely day.. I also saw some flowers and began clicking my camera here and there :P I just love flowers as my subject. ♥♥♥
Ok, one person commented me on my FB and told me that my pics are nice but I have to apply the "rule of thirds" to make my pics nicer. So the clueless that I am, I googled it and here's what I got:
Rule of Thirds - The rule states that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections.
Uhm, ok I understand the concept but honestly, I take pictures because I find the object/subject nice or interesting. I don't take pictures because I want photography as my career.
But of course I'm willing to learn all those rules once I have a professional camera to play with or if I have taken photography classes - which I'll probably do once I get a free time (who knows when..)
Anyway, the common question they always ask me is if I photoshop. No, I don't. I just play with the Scene Presets of my Point and shoot camera and color correct + watermark. That's all :)
